What verification means

Verification records specific checks completed by the directory at a point in time. It is deliberately separated into business identity, registration, operating location and manufacturing evidence.

Role-aware checks

Manufacturing and tannery claims can require location and manufacturing evidence. Businesses that do not claim to manufacture are not required to complete manufacturing checks merely to obtain an appropriate verified status.

Evidence privacy

Private documents, precise coordinates and verification photographs are retained for authorised review and are not automatically published on supplier profiles.
