Trade usefulness first
LeatherTrade Hub content is designed to help professional buyers define specifications, compare supplier roles, understand verification evidence and ask better sourcing questions. Pages should not be created merely to repeat keywords.
Evidence and attribution
Material factual claims about regulation, testing standards, trade classifications and sector structure should be supported by an appropriate source. Sources should be attributed clearly and linked where a public reference is available.
Independence
Membership status does not change the factual standard applied to editorial guides. Paid membership can affect directory features and visibility within clearly defined product features, but should not alter legislation, standards or research references.
Corrections
When a source changes or a material error is identified, the affected guide should be reviewed and its research date updated. Historic or superseded standards should be described as such rather than presented as current.
